Clarity

The second of the Four Cs takes centre stage – Clarity, a measure of the gem's internal purity. To assess a diamond's clarity, we embark on a meticulous journey with the aid of a tenfold magnification lens.

Internally Flawless (IF) At the pinnacle of clarity stands the Internally Flawless grade (IF), a designation reserved for diamonds exhibiting no discernible imperfections, even under the scrutiny of a 10x lens. This grade speaks to the impeccable purity of the gem, akin to uncovering a flawless masterpiece in the realm of diamonds.

VVS (Very, Very Slight Inclusions) In the realm of subtlety, VVS denotes diamonds with inclusions so minuscule and discreet that they elude the unaided eye. Only under the precision of a 10x lens can one glimpse these faint whispers of imperfection, adding an aura of exclusivity to the gem.

VS (Very Slight Inclusions) Venturing further into the spectrum, the Very Slight Inclusions category reveals diamonds with subtle internal markings. While these inclusions are perceptible under magnification, their elusive nature renders them nearly invisible to the naked eye, preserving the gem's overall brilliance.

SI (Slight Inclusions) The Slight Inclusions tier introduces diamonds with visible internal characteristics under 10x magnification. Despite their increased prominence, these inclusions remain discreet to casual observation, striking a delicate balance between transparency and intrigue.

P1 to P3 (Visible Inclusions to the Naked Eye) In the final echelon, diamonds classified as P1 to P3 exhibit inclusions readily apparent to the unaided eye. Each visible mark contributes to the unique character of the gem, transforming it into a distinctive work of nature's art.

In the realm of diamonds, clarity serves as an integral facet, weaving tales of purity and uniqueness. From flawless elegance to nuanced narratives etched within, the clarity grade unveils the intricate story of each diamond, offering a profound appreciation for the gem's inherent beauty and character.
