Zoisite

Zoisite is actually quite a common gemstone, usually found in various shades of yellow, green, and pink, like the ones you might see here. While it’s not typically used in high-end jewelry—mainly because the crystals are often a bit cloudy—the stones Manuel de Souza discovered were something special. These gems were incredibly clean, transparent, and just perfect for cutting.

When the first stones from de Souza’s find were cut and polished, they revealed something truly breath-taking. What started as an unassuming mineral turned into dazzling gemstones with a vivid blue-violet color that simply couldn’t be ignored. The polished stones seemed to glow with an inner light, showing off a clarity and brilliance that’s rare for Zoisite. It was as if these gems were always meant to be something extraordinary, just waiting for the right moment to shine.
